This CKLA Unit 6: The Viking Age playlist showcases our third graders’ learning journey through history, reading, and research. As an extension of the CKLA unit, students completed daily ReadWorks Article A Day readings to deepen their understanding of Viking life, exploration, culture, and history. Using the ReadWorks Big Book of Knowledge routine, students reflected on key ideas from each article and created slideshows to share what they learned and wanted to remember. Along the way, students are also learning to design Google Slides by adding organized text, images, titles, and creative layouts to clearly communicate their learning. This playlist highlights their growing skills as readers, researchers, presenters, and digital creators while celebrating their curiosity and creativity throughout the unit.
